Troubleshooting Tips

Some areas of my lights are dimmer than others, especially on the white settings.

  1. Unplug the Gemstone light power supply (the one with the glowing Gemstone name) for 10 seconds. 
  2. Make sure that the glowing logo is not illuminated after you unplug it,
  3. After 10 seconds reconnect and check your lights. 

If the problem persists, please contact our technical team for further assistance (see number below).

Sharing your controller with another person/user:

**THE PERSON YOU ARE ADDING OR SHARING WITH SHOULD NEVER USE THE PLUS SIGN IN THE APP TO ADD THEIR DEVICE**

  1. Go into your Gemstone app, tap on the controller you want to share
  2. On the bottom right ap settings
  3. Select share device
  4. At the bottom of that screen it says “Share device” which is highlighted red
  5. Enter the account ID that you would like to share it with. This is a phone number or email (whichever you used to register with) and hit save

Changing your router

If you change your router or your wifi signal and password, you’ll need to re-connect your controller to your new wifi. You can find a quick and easy how-to video on Gemstone Lights’ website by visiting gemstonelights.com/QuickStart
