How to Make Outdoor Lights Smart
When we talk about smart lighting, we mean lights that are controlled by an app – such as the Gemstone Lights Hub App. When lights are controlled by an app instead of a switch, they can be operated from anywhere with an internet connection or even a local bluetooth connection in the case of places like a cottage without an internet connection. When your system is installed, your Vibe Illuminations installation team will show you how to use the app and answer any questions you have with your new smart outdoor LED lights.
How Do I Control the Gemstone Lights System?
You control the Gemstone Lights system with the Gemstone Lights Hub App. To turn on your outdoor smart lights remotely, open the Gemstone Lights Hub App on your phone. On the homepage look for the toggle button to the right of your device name. Tap the toggle button to turn it on and off. You can also set timers and select patterns and colours in the app.
Are Smart Outdoor Lights Energy Efficient?
Yes! All LED lights are energy efficient but with smart outdoor lights you don’t need to worry about forgetting to turn them off – you can turn your lights off from anywhere with an internet connection. What’s more, you’ll never come home to darkness again – you can turn on your Gemstone Lights from the Gemstone Lights Hub App as you approach your house, or set a timer and let the app do all the work!
How Long Does It Take to Install Gemstone Lights?
Since Gemstone Lights smart outdoor LED lights are installed in the soffit of your house, there is no easy answer to how long it takes to install – larger houses will take more time. But most houses can be done in a day. Vibe Illuminations will let you know how long it will take to install your lights when we give you your quote.
